The Artists
James Allen Flood was born in Philadelphia on July 4,1944. He is a marine and aviation artist who lives on the Miami River in Florida. He enjoys membership in the Naval Institute and the American Society of Marine Artists. His work is on display at the Naval Institute in Annapolis, the Washington Naval Historical Museum, the Queen Mary, Mystic Seaport, the Olympia Memorial in Philadelphia as well as many other locations. Mr. Flood is also an accomplished musician and an avid maritime historian.

Joanne Von Zwehl is a well known New York artist whose works range from nautical to romanticism to spiritualism. She has been listed in Who’s Who of American Women and Long Island Business News. She has been profiled in the New York Times, the Daily News and Newsday. Joanne has been producing original artwork since childhood, winning her first award at the age of twelve. She travels around the world, including Ireland, France, Russia and Vietnam, studying art and gathering sources of inspiration. The porthole frames are also designed and copyrighted by Joanne Von Zwehl.
